Vitreous Enamels

Vitreous enamels are glass that is fused to metal at high temperatures in a kiln. There are at least 2 steps to making every vitreous enameled piece. The first is forming the metal, the second is applying the Enamels and firing them in a kiln. For some of my cloisonne pieces, this process may take up to 20 firings. If the work is a piece of jewelry, a setting must them be fabricated. For my cloisonne work, see Cloisonne Gallery
