Barbara is an artist living in Oakland, Maine. She currently works primarily in clay. Her previous professional artistic media were vitreous enamel and metals.

 

Barbara’s 15 years as a professor of horticulture are reflected in the plant forms, the natural textures and flowing lines of her designs.   “Plants fill the world with function and beauty simultaneously. No life could survive without their primary existence, and yet they live these lives of  utility, grace and  beauty with little acknowledgement or recognition."

After a seven year hiatus from having a web presence, Barbara has decided to re-establish herself online.
